KRUGER NOT SUED FOR CLAIMING MADDIE IS DEAD

I HAVE TRACED HER TO BEACH

MISSING MADDIE: McCANNS' FURY AT PR'S HUGE BILL
A professional manhunter claims he has uncovered shocking DNA evidence tracing Maddie McCann to a beach 500 yards from where she vanished.
But ex-cop Danie Krugel says his "forensic route" runs cold at the beach and it is unclear whether the tot was taken away by boat or her body is buried under the sand.
Krugel, dubbed The Locator, was hired by Maddie's parents Kate and Gerry to use his cutting-edge technology in a bid to find their daughter.
Using a strand of Maddie's hair he traced a trail from the Portuguese holiday apartment, down various paths and alleys to the beach.
The South African claims he has pinpointed the exact spot she was taken to. And although he accepts it is a possibility she was put on to a boat he believes she is buried in Praia da Luz.
His findings were handed to Portuguese police in July but he claims officers did not follow them up.
He said: "The technology I use picks up a trace using DNA and complex and secret science techniques. The trace was strongest in one area.
"The machine was highlighting the same co-ordinate and it kept drawing me back there. It left me convinced Madeleine was there.
"I'm convinced Madeleine's body is in Praia da Luz. Too much time has been spent accusing Kate and Gerry and not enough searching for Madeleine."
